Election day.
I can see and feel that everyone is so excited dahil kanina pa lang 6 in the morning, ginigising na ako nang nanay ko para bumoto. Medyo inaantok pa ako kasi late na ako natulog last night, so mga alas medya na ako gumising at pumunta nang voting center para bumoto. I didn't make a list of my candidates to vote, ang importante sa akin is that I knew them all by heart. I don't need to write them, so shading will be a breeze once I saw their names on the ballot. Nanay ko sobrang excited, pagkabukas pa lang nang precinct, nandun na siya.
Sobrang sakit nang tiyan ko kanina at dahil diyan, nagising na ako. Hanggang ngayon, sobrang sakit pa rin. Buti na lang, isang tumbling lang ang voting precinct sa amin at nakisama ang tiyan ko. Ang haba nang pila, but I don't mind. It shows orderliness kaya okay sa akin yun. Kasama ko ang shupatid ko at magkasunod kami sa pila, but when it's our turn to identify ourselves, hindi na kami hiningan nang ID. Ano kaya yun? They should make no assumption na kami nga yun and they should verify our identity by asking for our IDs, eh paano kung flying voter ako? When I worked as a poll clerk before, I had to asked each voter a valid ID bago ko sila papirmahin sa list of voters kesehodang magalit sila sa akin sa haba nang pila. Kahit naman na magkakakilala na kami dun sa presinto, but still, they need to assume na strangers kaming mga voters for fair and square voting. Charing!
I got my President, VP, 10 senators, 1 Congressman, Mayor, V-Mayor and 3 councilors. My rule for this election day is that I should at least know who am I voting for, hence I undervote. Hindi kumpleto ang list ko. At problema ko pala, masyado akong pasmado. Nanginginig pa ako habang nagse-shade, but the PCOS machine read and counted my votes. Ang hirap talaga nang tumatanda.
I voted Gordon and Bayani - why? Villar disappointed me so much that I have to choose Gibo temporarily as my bet kaya lang I am having multiple thoughts of voting him as my president kahit gaano pa siya katalino. I can only see him as the male version of Gloria - matalino at kurakot, but I am not saying he's kurakot kasi I only knew him since Ondoy when he flourished as the NDCC Chairman. Noynoy? Never will I vote for him, kahit gaano ko man kagusto si Kris, I don't see him as my President. Only Gordon and Bayani are the next best tandem for me. Saka, malapit sa puso ko ang Transformers kaya they got my vote!
I am really hoping that everything would go well and please naman, sana naman, wala nang mandaya. Mas maganda naman siguro na manalo nang hindi nandadaya. I am so excited on the next few days to know who will top the polls and who are the least bet. I promise that I am going to be fully aware of this.
