Dustin Clare of Spartacus

The prequel of Spartacus entitled Gods of the Arena has started last January 21 which will provide six episodes. It was originally announced that Andy Whitfield, the lead of the series, which was diagnosed with a treatable cancer (non-Hodgkin lymphoma) and was treated, will be back on the prequel after the season break. But during the round health check up, he positive again with the disease. He is currently treated until announce cancer-free again, hopefully.
His absence on the second part was not felt because the story focus before he entered the school of gladiators. He was replaced with a new lead, Gannicus, as the best gladiator of the house of Batiatus .
Ang pogi niya no? His character differs from Andy. He looks naughty at parang may gagawing kalokohan, compared to Andy's character na medyo seryoso. Again, I am in awe as the story progresses. The story depicts how the life is about during the ancient times. Lies and deceitfulness is on it's worst form. And the only revenge you can do is to kill. Taray.
Lucretia is back, she's my favorite character. At kung uso ang most powerful woman ng panahon niya, I bet siya ang magiging number 1.

I am amaze that the creators has managed to include homosexuals in the story. It is somehow existent during that time and it is no issue at all, unlike now. Nagulat pa ako na may mga gladiators who are into other fellow gladiators. Nakakalurkey lang! Hehe.
The series is not for the weak heart. It exudes blatant sex, violence and explicit words. Watch at your own risk.
